Working with Carolina was easily one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. She was highly recommended by a number of the vendors we were already working with, and we were eager to find someone to help tie together the many moving pieces. Upon reaching out, Carolina informed us that she was already scheduled with a wedding the same day, but truly went above and beyond in agreeing to help us with the entirety of the planning process (all while linking us up with the fabulous Alexa Prange of By Catherine Alexandra). WOWZA! Our daughter envisioned a winter/holiday wonderland. Our venue , Terrain, is already beautiful, but we wanted that extra wow factor. Carolina delivered that and so much more. I wish I had found Carolina sooner! After most of my vendors were already hired, I looked for someone who could coordinate the day for me. As someone who is already organized and thoughtful, I didn't think I needed a planner, but wanted someone to help with the administrative end and the inevitable day of hiccups. My biggest regret is not looking and finding Carolina sooner and hiring her for a full planning package. I am sure she could have saved me money with her arsenal of vendor partners as well as ground me for what I was envisioning, the cost, other options and keeping me on budget. One of the attractions to Carolina when meeting with potential planners was her background in design. Seeing her work sold me instantly! Carolina met with with Phil and I several times leading up to the wedding, both via Zoom for meetings to discuss our vision and expectations, as well as meeting us at our venue to review layouts and share feedback. She was responsive to all emails and text messages and was consistently up-to-date with each and every timeline she created (believe me, you won't know how often they will change until you start planning! She handled each change in a timely fashion and made sure to share updates with our vendors). Our vendors had nothing but kind, positive interactions with Carolina, too! As far as design goes, Carolina is just outstanding. When I saw the reception space, I burst into tears. I had been able to hold back up to that point but it was impossible to not weep tears of joy, seeing what she did to transform the room and bring our vision to life. Our plans changed multiple times, even three weeks prior to the wedding when state restrictions limited crowd size. When all the stress of wedding planning gets too much, it's incredibly assuring to know Carolina has a plan and has everything under control. She does it all! She made the arrangements with the vendors, coordinated every detail of the decorations, hand made every centerpiece and flower arrangement, and put together our outdoor alter at the last minute (we thought it would rain until 2 hours before the wedding) Carolina is an absolute joy to work with and was invaluable to our wedding day.
